Ladies of Broadway

Tribute to Cabaret & Women’s Month

Wednesday, March 31, 7:00PM

Gordon Michaels Productions presents “Ladies of Broadway”

Since March is Cabaret & Women’s month I figured why not do a show to celebrate both. This one hour concert will figure some of Broadway’s iconic show stopping numbers performed by women. From such shows as: Porgy & Bess, The King & I, Cabaret, Dreamgirls, The Color Purple and many more. This show will be coming to you live via Facebbok from the room I was producing once a month dinner shows at before Covid-19. The Fox & Hound Tavern in Quincy, MA. This is a kick off to the new look of our room and that we will be starting up again the end of May. With live sit down dinner shows. Yes we are coming back. So tune in March 31st at 7pm for a look at a male tribute of these powerful female songs. You won’t be sorry.

No charge for this show but tips and donations are greatly appreciated.

Sunday October 25th at 3pm on Facebook. I will be featuring a new concert “Here’s To The Ladies (I Love)” This month my spot will be filled with my good friend and fellow performer James G. (Jimmy) Page. He will be singing a few of his favorite female oldies.

Here’s To The Ladies (I Love): Will be a live streaming event featuring songs from a few of the women i love and grew up listening to as well as one of my mentors Ms. Rebecca Paris a Boston legend. Also the music of Patsy Cline, Ann Murray & Linda Ronstadt.  The music for this show features these powerful female vocalists in Jazz, Country & Pop.  Jimmy will be joined by Michael Larson at the keyboard and I (Gordon Michaels) will be his special guest for an hour of nostalgia.

Powerful is a word that most people would use to describe his smooth baritone voice.  His delivery seems almost effortless and his stylistic range is diverse. He's comfortable performing Broadway ballads, jazz standards, blues, R&B oldies, Gospel and yes, even country.  He is a gregarious southern gentlemen at heart and truly an entertainer that will leave you wanting more.
