SUMMARY:I'll Always Love My Mama - Pre Mother's Day show
DESCRIPTION:First Friday in May is May 3rd and I will be hosting the open mic piano bar at Club Cafe 209 Columbus avenue Boston MA and the Napoleon Room from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.\nAs usual when I’m hosting every month on First Fridays\, I always have a theme. The theme for May is: “I’ll Always Love My Mama ” Pre Mother’s Day Celebration.\n\nSo how the theme works is simple all the songs sung in the room on this night one of these chosen words must be in the song lyrics for the songs you choose to sing. The chosen words are as follows: Mama\, Mother\, Love\, Care\, Child/Children\, Son\, Daughter\, Grandma/grandmother\, Special\, Beautiful\, Bless/Blessed\, Hero\, Wonderful\, Strength/Strong\n\nI will perform a mini concert for 45 minutes out front and then we’ll take a short break and then we will open the room up to all singers who have signed up to sing. We ask that all singers contact me in advance and tell me the songs you would like to sing. You will need to have one up-tempo/fast selection and one moderate or slow ballad. We do it this way so that the room is not all slow songs for the entire evening. With these chosen words it should give you many songs to pick from.\n\nIt is always good to make a reservation because the room has limited seating and does sell out pretty quick. Please call 617-536-0966 to make your reservations in advance. Always remember there is no cover at the piano bar and in the Napoleon Room.\nI look forward to seeing you.
